What is the difference between Operator Connect and Direct Routing?
Operator Connect is a Microsoft-certified service where Momentum integrates directly into Teams as the operator. With Direct Routing, you provide the SBC yourself (on-prem or cloud) and we deliver the SIP trunk. Operator Connect goes live faster; Direct Routing gives more control. -
Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. Momentum handles porting of virtually all national and international numbers to Teams. Our specialists plan every port with minimal impact and test in advance in a staging environment. -
What about emergency calls from Teams?
The platform supports location detection for 112/911 routing in compliance with European and US legislation. A fixed referral address can be configured per user or location. -
